Roles of the President

• Establish and maintain relationships with various Miami University and City of Oxford constituents, effectively serving as the Interfraternity Council liaison
• Allow chapter presidents to direct the actions of the Interfraternity Council and put their interests at the forefront of every decision
• Meet the needs of individual chapter presidents
  • Be approachable and available at all times
  • Make information accessible and the actions of the Interfraternity Council transparent
• Serve as official spokesperson for IFC and advocate on behalf of fraternity matters
• Compile agendas for IFC Executive Board Meetings and manage the IFC Executive Board listserv
• Oversee IFC Executive Board Officers' activities
• Ensure IFC Officers are completing their responsibilities and maintaining weekly office hours
